General Information

Location

Southeast Minnesota’s Bluff Country. Cushon’s Peak Campground is located 8 miles east of Rushford and 2.5 miles west of Houston on State Highway 16.

Season

Open May 5, through September 30 in 2012.

 

Special DNR warning for firewood. Houston County has been quarantined for bringing in or taking out firewood due to the problems with emerald ash bore and gypsy moths. All firewood must be certified safe if transported. Cushon’s Peak does sell firewood that is collected from campground. Please help us save our trees!
